A Bit About The Role First aid and related training delivery Business development and regional sales growth Account management and customer relationship building This is not just another sales role. We are looking for someone who is passionate about helping people, enjoys building long-term customer relationships, and is motivated by growing a region and making a real impact. You’ll take ownership of developing the South Island region, identifying new business opportunities while also supporting and growing our existing customer base. A strong focus of this role is driving sales growth across AEDs, first aid training, testing services, and related solutions. One day you may be meeting with clients and developing new business opportunities, while the next you could be delivering workplace first aid training or supporting customers onsite with AED testing and compliance services. We are happy to provide full training in AED testing and compliance services for the right person. Key Responsibilities Drive regional sales growth through new business development and account management Build and maintain strong long-term customer relationships Promote AEDs, training services, testing programs, and related solutions Deliver engaging first aid and related training courses Complete AED performance testing, installations, and product demonstrations Identify opportunities to expand services and support customers onsite Maintain accurate customer records and reporting within CRM systems Represent Heart Saver NZ professionally across the South Island region Travel throughout the South Island as required The role involves up to 10 days per month of regional travel outside of Christchurch. About You We are looking for someone who combines strong sales ability with a genuine passion for training, helping people, and building relationships. You ideally come from a background such as: First aid training Emergency services Healthcare or nursing Medical or healthcare sales Customer training or facilitation Business development or account management To be successful in this role, you will need to bring: Proven experience in sales, business development, or account management Strong communication and relationship-building skills A proactive, self-motivated approach The ability to work independently and manage your own region Strong organisation and time management skills A practical, hands‑on mindset and willingness to learn A passion for making a genuine difference in the community This is an opportunity to join a business where the work genuinely matters.
