Help shape insurance products and make information clear for customers We’re looking for a Product Associate to join our Product & Pricing team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with exceptional written English and communication skills who enjoys making complex information clear, accurate, and easy to understand. While strong writing is fundamental to success in this role, you’ll also work closely with colleagues across the business to analyse product information, maintain documentation, support product changes, and contribute to the ongoing development of our insurance products. You may come from a communications, editing, technical writing, policy, customer service, education, or insurance background. What matters most is your ability to understand information quickly, ask good questions, and communicate clearly with both internal teams and customers in mind. What you’ll be doing Support the ongoing management and continuous improvement of our insurance products Maintain policy wordings, underwriting guidelines, product documentation, and related product assets Assist in the development and implementation of new products and product enhancements Help ensure products remain accurate, compliant, customer-focused, and aligned with business objectives Coordinate documentation updates, product reviews, approvals, and change activities Underwriting & business support Maintain underwriting rules and product guidelines Translate pricing decisions and underwriting requirements into clear product documentation and business rules Provide product guidance and support to help ensure consistent application of product rules and customer outcomes Collaborate with colleagues across the business to deliver consistent product outcomes Review product performance, customer feedback, and business insights to identify opportunities for improvement Assist in implementing product changes across documentation, business rules, systems, and customer communications Champion continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to simplify products, improve customer experience, and strengthen product governance Contribute to strategic initiatives that support the ongoing evolution of the company’s insurance products About you We’re looking for someone who is curious, organised, enjoys solving problems, and has a strong eye for detail. You don’t need to know everything about insurance products on day one. What’s important is willingness to learn, communicate clearly, and produce accurate, high-quality written work. Ideally, you’ll have: A tertiary qualification in Communications, English, Education, Linguistics, Law, Business, Insurance, or another relevant discipline, or equivalent experience. Early-career experience, or experience gained through employment, internships, or university projects, in communications, technical writing, editing, education, policy, insurance, customer service, or another detail-oriented role. Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to problem solving. Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly, accurately, and in plain English. Exceptional professional written English proficiency, or equivalent fluency gained through teaching, writing, editing, or communications experience. Confidence working with information and data to support decision making. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive working relationships across the business. Well organised, proactive, and able to manage competing priorities. A genuine willingness to learn and develop a career in insurance product management. Advantageous Exposure to insurance products, underwriting, or policy documentation Experience in general insurance or financial services An interest in product management, business analysis, or continuous improvement Experience writing, editing, or simplifying technical, regulatory, or customer-facing documentation Familiarity with regulated business environments Why this role?
