Whenua Iti Outdoors – Lower Moutere, South Island Programme & Systems Coordinator – Whenua Iti Outdoors 1.0 FTE | Fixed Term – 1 year | Based in Motueka Whenua Iti Outdoors (WIO) delivers life-changing experiences through outdoor and experiential learning, connecting people with nature, culture, and community. For over four decades, WIO has empowered individuals and groups through innovative programmes that build confidence, resilience, and a sense of belonging. We are now seeking a motivated and organised Programme & Systems Coordinator to join our team. This pivotal role sits at the heart of our programme delivery, ensuring that bookings, enrolments, logistics, and systems run smoothly. You’ll help create the conditions that allow our educators and operations team to focus on delivering meaningful outcomes for participants. Importantly, you’ll share our commitment to upholding Te Tiriti o Waitangi and role-modelling kaupapa Māori values in your work. About the Role This role provides coordination and administration support across WIO’s broad range of programmes — including Primary, Secondary, Holiday, Community and Professional Programmes. You’ll manage bookings, liaise with clients, maintain our CRM systems, and support programme logistics such as transport, reporting, and funding administration. As a primary point of contact for enquiries, you’ll ensure a positive customer experience while maintaining accurate records and contributing to marketing and communications. Reporting to the Education Manager, you’ll work closely with the Programme Coordination team, operations staff, and wider office team to make sure WIO continues to deliver safe, high-quality, and impactful programmes. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and support programme bookings and enrolments. Maintain and update CRM and student information systems. Support logistics including transport, attendance reporting, evaluations and funding administration. Act as a first point of contact for customer service enquiries. Assist with programme communications, marketing, social media, and publications. Provide administration support for internal and external reporting. Contribute to organisational projects, events, and quality processes. Uphold Te Tiriti o Waitangi and support the kaupapa of WIO in all aspects of work. About You We are looking for someone who is: Highly organised, task-focused and detail-oriented. Skilled in administration, managing projects and confident learning new IT systems. Experienced in working with databases or CRM systems. An excellent communicator with strong written and verbal skills. Adaptable, able to prioritise in a changing environment, and work well under pressure. A collaborative team player, willing to step up and support others.
