Project Manager

Structa Limited – New Plymouth, North Island Structa is a New Plymouth-based construction company known for delivering quality commercial & residential builds & alterations across Taranaki. We're on the hunt for an experienced Project Manager to join our team and help lead our projects from the ground up. About the role You'll be responsible for the day-to-day running of construction projects - coordinating trades, managing programmes, keeping clients in the loop, and making sure every job is delivered on time, on budget, and to the standard Structa is known for. This is a hands-on role for someone who's comfortable on site as much as they are in front of a spreadsheet or a client meeting. What you'll be doing Managing multiple construction projects simultaneously, from pre-start through to handover Developing and maintaining project programmes, budgets, and procurement schedules Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and site staff Liaising with clients, architects, and consultants to keep everyone aligned Monitoring site health & safety and ensuring compliance with NZ Building Code and relevant standards Managing variations, RFIs, and contract administration Reporting on project progress, risks, and financials What we're looking for Proven experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction and/or residential Solid understanding of NZ building codes, consenting processes, and construction contracts Strong organisational and time-management skills - you can juggle multiple projects without dropping the ball Confident communicator who can build relationships with clients, trades, and the wider team A relevant trade background, degree, or diploma in construction management Must be willing and able to pass a pre-employment medical assessment and drug test A full, clean NZ driver's licence Why Structa Join a locally-owned, well-respected Taranaki construction company Varied project pipeline - no two days the same Supportive team culture with genuine career progression Competitive salary based on experience Vehicle / phone / laptop provided #J-18808-Ljbffr
