We're partnering with a well-established aged care provider to find an experienced Facility Manager to lead a modern, multi-service care home and village. With an experienced clinical leadership team already in place, this role offers the opportunity to focus on the overall success of the service—bringing together operational excellence, financial performance, compliance, and team leadership. About the Role As Facility Manager, you'll be responsible for the overall operation of the facility, ensuring it runs efficiently while maintaining outstanding standards of care and service. You’ll work closely with an established leadership team, including experienced clinical leaders, allowing you to focus on building a high-performing culture, supporting your managers, strengthening relationships with residents and families, and ensuring the business continues to thrive. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys balancing strategy with day-to-day operations and takes pride in developing engaged teams and delivering exceptional customer experiences. What You’ll Be Responsible For Leading the overall performance and day-to-day operations of the facility Building, mentoring and developing a positive, accountable team culture Managing budgets, occupancy, resources and operational performance Ensuring compliance with New Zealand aged care standards and audit requirements Working alongside clinical leaders to achieve excellent resident outcomes Building trusted relationships with residents, families and the wider community Driving continuous improvement across people, quality and service delivery About You You’re a confident and approachable leader who understands that successful aged care facilities are built on strong people, sound business practices and exceptional resident experiences. You’ll bring: Proven leadership experience within New Zealand aged care Strong operational and people management capability Experience managing budgets, staffing and business performance Sound knowledge of quality, compliance and audit requirements The ability to coach, influence and develop high-performing teams Excellent communication and relationship-building skills A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement A current New Zealand Registered Nurse practising is required and there will be a shared on call roster.
