Hours of Work Permanent, full-time positions Minimum guaranteed hours: 30 hours per week Typical hours: 40–55 hours per week Monday to Friday with some weekend work as required Pay Rate $28.00 – $32.00 per hour , depending on the role, experience and qualifications. About the Roles Class 4/5 Delivery Drivers Reporting to the Fleet Operations Manager, responsibilities include: Safely operating Class 4 and Class 5 vehicles Transporting chilled and frozen meat products between company sites and customers Loading and unloading freight Completing vehicle safety checks and basic maintenance Maintaining delivery documentation and logbooks Ensuring compliance with NZ transport legislation and Health & Safety requirements Assisting with yard and load-out duties when required Stock Truck Drivers As a Stock Truck Driver, you'll play an important role transporting livestock safely and humanely while maintaining the highest standards of animal welfare. Responsibilities include: Transporting livestock safely between farms and processing facilities Conducting vehicle and trailer safety inspections Ensuring animal welfare requirements are met at all times Completing transport documentation and logbooks Working closely with farmers and livestock suppliers Maintaining clean, well-presented vehicles and equipment Complying with all transport, biosecurity and Health & Safety requirements What We're Looking For Applicants should have: A current NZ Class 4 or Class 5 Driver Licence (or overseas equivalent transferable to New Zealand) At least 12 months' relevant heavy vehicle driving experience A strong commitment to safe driving practices Good communication skills and a positive attitude The ability to work flexible hours when required Physical fitness suitable for manual handling tasks The ability to work both independently and as part of a team Highly Regarded Forklift licence with OSH endorsement Previous refrigerated freight experience (Delivery Drivers) Previous livestock transport experience (Stock Truck Drivers) Pre-Employment Checks All offers of employment are subject to: Pre-employment medical assessment Drug and alcohol testing Driver licence verification Police vetting (where applicable) Satisfactory reference checks Why Join Kintyre Meats?
