About the Role We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Support Worker to join our team. This role involves providing practical, emotional, and cultural support to (A;aōrǐŋ ŋĊŋkŋĄ within the community and residential settings, supporting recovery journeys in alignment with Kaupapa Māori values. You will work closely alongside clinicians, wh%1;nau, and community services to support wellbeing, independence, and connection. Key Responsibilities Provide day-to-day support for (A;aōrǐŋ ŋĊŋkŋĄ in community settings Support wellness plans, goals, and daily living activities Build strong, respectful relationships with wh%1;nau and community partners Maintain accurate, timely documentation and reporting Participate in team meetings, training, and supervision Skills & Experience Experience working in mental health, addictions, or community support (preferred) Strong understanding of Kaupapa Māori and wh%1;nau-centred practice Level 4 certificate in Mental health desirable – or willingness to work towards Ability to build trust and rapport with (A;aōrǐŋ ŋĊŋkŋĄ and wh%1;nau Good communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a kaupapa-driven team Requirements Clean full New Zealand driver licence (essential) Eligible to work in Aotearoa New Zealand Willingness to undergo Police Vetting Flexibility to work varied hours, including some community-based mahi What We Offer Opportunities for training, development, and supervision Meaningful mahi that makes a real difference for wh%1;nau Applications close: rolling advert Commencement: ASAP Eligibility: Applicants must be New Zealand citizens or hold a valid New Zealand visa. #J-18808-Ljbffr
