Accredited Training Pathways All roles are accredited for Basic and Advanced Training with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP), with diverse rotations to meet core and elective requirements. Academic links - close links between Auckland clinical centres and University of Auckland - opportunities for further study, including Certificate and/or Diploma of Child Health - potential to gain experience in education and/or research RACP Basic Training (Years 1-3) experience: - General Paediatrics - Paediatric Emergency - Subspecialty exposure: Cardiology, Respiratory, Neurology, Haematology/Oncology, Gastroenterology, Immunology/Infectious Diseases, Endocrinology, Renal/Rheumatology RACP Advanced Training experience: - General Paediatrics - Community and Developmental Paediatrics - Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) - Medical Subspecialties - Paediatric Emergency - Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Rural runs in Whangarei and Tauranga are also available. These runs are ideal for completing rural training requirements in Advanced Training in General Paediatrics.
