About the Role We are seeking a motivated and experienced Endocrine Surgeonto join our General Surgery team at Christchurch Hospital, one of the SouthIsland's major tertiary referral centres. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a busy andprogressive surgical service, providing specialist care across the fullspectrum of endocrine surgery, including thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal, andcomplex endocrine pathology. The successful candidate will work closelyalongside a multidisciplinary team including endocrinologists, radiologists,oncologists, pathologists, and specialist nursing staff to deliver high-qualitypatient-centred care. In addition to your endocrine practice, you will contributeto the wider General Surgery acute roster, elective services, teaching, andservice development. There are strong opportunities for research, innovation,and quality improvement. About You As an Endocrine Surgeon, you will: Hold(or be eligible for) vocational registration with the Medical Council ofNew Zealand in General Surgery Haverecognised fellowship training and expertise in endocrine surgery Demonstratecommitment to high-quality patient care and clinical excellence Becomfortable working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Havean interest in teaching, service development, and quality improvement Working at Health New Zealand Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuringexcellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
