Venluree Canterbury – Papanui, South Island Due to increase workload at Choices Flooring & Venluree Curtains and Blinds we are looking for an enthusiastic person to join us in the role of sole charge Warehouse Person in our Christchurch based family-owned business in Papanui. This position means you will be working in our warehouse alongside our administration staff and also alongside our installers. The role is critical to the delivery of quality service to our customers and requires an independent self-motivated person who can handle a wide variety of tasks and would suit someone wanting to grow with our company as this is a new full-time role. Key responsibilities Inwards goods management, including receipting and storage Outward goods management, including packing and despatch Cutting carpet and organising stock for our installers to collect (training supplied) Conducting regular stock-takes Working with a team but also comfortable working independently Keeping the warehouse organised and tidy. About you Prior experience in a warehousing role or believe you are up to this role Good oral and written communication skills Excellent attention to detail The ability to work under pressure Computer literacy, including experience with Microsoft Outlook.
