About the Role We are seeking an organised and detail-oriented Administration Support person to join our Patient Safety, Quality & Innovation (PSQI) team. In this role, you will provide high-quality administrative support to the PSQI team, assisting with information management, responding to enquiries from consumers, patients, and staff, and completing a range of administrative functions to support the smooth operation of the service. This is a permanent position working 24 hours per fortnight (0.3 FTE) , with hours of work between 8.00am and 4.30pm . To be Successful in this Role, You Will Bring: Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy Strong organisational and information management skills Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills Confidence using Microsoft Office applications The ability to manage competing priorities and a busy workload A high level of professionalism and discretion A commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality A positive, adaptable, and team-focused approach About the Team / Service / Location The Patient Safety, Quality & Innovation team plays a vital role in supporting quality improvement and patient safety initiatives across the organisation. From coordinating audits to managing important documentation and processes, the team helps ensure the delivery of safe and effective healthcare services. About You You will ideally have: Previous administrative experience in a busy office environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong computer literacy, including experience with the Microsoft Office Suite A customer-focused approach and the ability to build positive relationships The ability to work both independently and as part of a team Proven experience managing multiple tasks and deadlines Knowledge of medical terminology would be an advantage, but is not essential The successful candidate must be eligible to work in New Zealand or hold a valid New Zealand visa at the time of application.
