The Role Reporting to the Warehouse Operations Team Leader, the Warehouse Assistant combines hands-on assembly work with warehouse dutiesincluding picking daily orders, wrapping and assembling products to specification, assisting with front-line customers service, and ensuring compliance with all standard operating and health and safety procedures. As a key part of our Christchurch based team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse and product assembly departments. Why Boundaryline? Some of the benefits of joining the Boundaryline team include: Competitive remuneration Product training and professional development A Company-wide discretionary bonus scheme (because together we win) Strong company values, which are celebrated daily Regular wellness initiatives and team events Free doctor’s visits and flu vaccinations A great team culture – our people are at the heart of all that we do Key Responsibilities: Efficiently complete all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods Assemble prefabricated aluminium products to specification and meet daily targets Ensure accurate inventory management through regular stock checks and reconciliation Complete final builds, quality checks, and product packaging Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with health and safety regulations Collaborate with other team members to achieve operational targets and KPIs Utilise warehouse management systems to track and record incoming and outgoing shipments Carry out routine maintenance tasks on equipment as required Main Tasks: Receive incoming goods and verify against purchase orders for accuracy Safely store received items in designated locations within the warehouse Accurately pick and pack orders for dispatch, ensuring correct items and quantities are included Prepare outgoing shipments by labelling, loading onto vehicles, or arranging for courier collection Conduct regular stock takes to maintain accurate inventory records Follow established procedures for handling hazardous materials if applicable About You: Ideally four years of secondary education Current full manual driver's licence with F endorsement Previous experience in a dispatch / warehousing role would be advantageous Excellent communication and personal presentation skills Active listening and customer services skills This is a permanent full-time role based in Christchurch, Monday - Friday from 7:00am - 5:00pm.
