Secondary (Years 7–15) / wharekura, Certificated teacher Social sciences Epsom Girls Grammar School, Te Kura Tuarua o Ngā Taitamāhine o Maungawhau, is a school that strives for excellence: in performance, in the connections between people and in its pastoral supports. We are a large, urban school for girls, with a current role of 2,300 students. Our expert staff teach towards the national qualification, NCEA, and from 2026, will also offer Cambridge International courses and learning (where appropriate). We have a large co-curricular programme of sports, visual and performing arts, cultural expression as well as charity and service opportunities. Our staff are expected to take an active role in supporting the co-curricular programme of the school, by coaching or managing teams and groups. We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic senior history and social studies teacher to join our supportive team. Our social sciences faculty are engaged in the implementation of the refreshed curriculum and embedding curriculum and assessment change. The successful candidate will be knowledgeable and passionate about their subjects, be able to build strong and positive relationships with students and deliver engaging, purposeful and tailored learning opportunities that respond to the needs of individual students in the classroom. #J-18808-Ljbffr
