Alignz Recruitment – Christchurch, South Island Welder & Fabricator based round Canterbury We're on the hunt for a motivated Welder & Fabricator to join our Team. This hands-on role is open to entry-level applicants or experienced fabricators – if you’ve got a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn, we want to hear from you! Key Responsibilities Fabricate and weld structural steel components for rotary dairy sheds. Read and interpret technical drawings (training provided if needed). Perform MIG, and arc welding (on-the-job training available). Assist with on-site installation and assembly. Follow safety procedures and quality standards. Operate machinery and tools related to welding and fabrication. What You’ll Bring A can-do attitude and willingness to learn. Basic knowledge of welding or mechanical aptitude. Ability to work in a team and take direction. Reliability and a strong work ethic. Any prior experience in welding, fabrication, or rural/agriculture projects is a bonus – but not essential.
