Since 1999 we've been designing, manufacturing and installing conveying systems, silos and processing equipment for clients throughout New Zealand and Australia. Every project is different. From stainless steel processing equipment through to large structural conveyors and industrial plant, you'll work on interesting projects from start to finish in a modern workshop with a great team. Due to continued growth, we're looking for an experienced Fabricator Welder to join our production team. About the Role Working within our fabrication team, you'll be responsible for manufacturing high-quality materials handling equipment to engineering drawings while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality and workmanship. Your work will include: Fabrication of mild and stainless steel components MIG, TIG and Arc welding Mechanical assembly of conveyors and industrial equipment Reading and interpreting engineering drawings Fabricating structural steel and mechanical assemblies Working to company quality standards and procedures Supporting continuous improvement within the workshop Occasional site installation and shutdown work throughout New Zealand No two weeks are the same, with projects ranging from screw conveyors, large hoppers, belt conveyors through to large industrial equipment with a range of equipment. About You We're looking for someone who takes pride in producing quality work and enjoys working in a team environment. You’ll ideally have: Strong MIG and TIG welding skills Experience working with carbon and stainless steel Ability to read engineering drawingsHigh attention to detail A positive attitude and strong work ethic Why Join Conveyor Industries?
