This role offers: The chance to work with a dynamic and innovative team of professionals Exposure to a wide range of challenging and rewarding projects A supportive and inclusive work environment that values your contributions Your Main Responsibilities Will Include: Demonstrated expertise in mechanical fitting, with a strong understanding of mechanical systems and components Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Commitment to safety and a keen eye for detail Repair & Maintain Mechanical Plants Diagnose & Fix Breakdowns On-site Preferred Qualifications: Formal training or certification in mechanical engineering or a related field Previous experience as a Mechanical Fitter or in a similar role Strong communication and teamwork skills The successful candidate must hold aClass 1 driver’s license and a minimum of a Level 4 National Certificate in Engineering in welding, fitter/turner, toolmaking, or maintenance. Must pass a pre-employment drug test and Ministry of Justice (MOJ) check if required. While prior experience in rigging with a forklift license is preferred, the role is open to all NZ citizens, residents, or those with a valid open work visa.
