FindIT Recruitment – Wellington Central, North Island Senior Solution Architect – Oracle Fusion Cloud Location: Wellington Employment Type: Permanent Salary: Up to $200,000k + benefits We're partnering with a large and government organisation who are seeking a Senior Solution Architect to provide architectural leadership across its Oracle Fusion Cloud environment. This is an opportunity to influence the direction of critical enterprise platforms supporting finance, procurement, payroll and HR while working alongside senior business stakeholders and one of the organisation's key implementation partners. About the Role As a Senior Solution Architect, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring enterprise solutions are strategically aligned, technically sound and fit for purpose. Rather than focusing on hands-on implementation, you'll provide architectural oversight, governance and trusted advice across a portfolio of Oracle initiatives. You'll collaborate closely with business leaders, architects, delivery teams and external vendors to ensure solution designs meet business objectives while aligning with enterprise architecture standards. Key Responsibilities Lead solution architecture across Oracle Fusion Cloud initiatives. Design and review enterprise solution architectures supporting finance, procurement, payroll and HR platforms. Provide architectural governance and quality assurance throughout project delivery. Partner with implementation vendors, providing oversight and constructive challenge where required. Collaborate with business, security, infrastructure and platform teams to deliver scalable, secure and sustainable solutions. Develop technology roadmaps and contribute to the organisation's long-term architecture strategy. Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture principles, governance frameworks and business outcomes. About You You’ll be an experienced Solution Architect who enjoys solving complex business problems and influencing technology direction at an enterprise level. You’ll bring: Proven experience as a Solution Architect within New Zealand government. Strong experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and EPM . Experience designing enterprise solutions across finance, procurement, payroll or HR platforms. Strong understanding of cloud technologies, including SaaS, PaaS and IaaS. The ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders and provide trusted architectural advice. Experience working alongside implementation partners and providing solution governance.
