New Business Engineer

ConsultANZ is looking for a New Business Engineer to join a leading civil construction contractor in Wellington or Christchurch, New Zealand . This is an excellent opportunity to work within a Precontracts team, supporting major infrastructure projects and helping secure future work across New Zealand. Main Responsibilities Support the Precontracts team in preparing bids and tender submissions Review project specifications, drawings, and technical requirements Assist with project planning, methodologies, and construction solutions Work closely with estimators, project managers, and clients during tender stages Identify project risks and opportunities and provide technical input Help develop competitive and innovative proposals for civil infrastructure projects Requirements Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field Minimum 4+ years of experience in heavy civil construction projects Strong technical engineering knowledge and problem-solving skills Previous experience in precontracts, project engineering, or tendering is preferred Good communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to work effectively in an office-based team environment Benefits Competitive salary package, negotiable based on experience Permanent full-time position based in Wellington or Christchurch Opportunity to work on major civil infrastructure projects Strong career development and progression opportunities Join a well-established contractor with a strong pipeline of future work Additional information Based in Wellington or Christchurch, NZ Permanent full-time role Competitive salary package, negotiable based on experience #J-18808-Ljbffr
