About our programme Our integrated programme combines education and therapeutic support, helping students re‑engage with learning and work toward successful transitions back to school or alternative pathways. Teachers work in small groups, whole class, and one‑on‑one, adapting the New Zealand Curriculum to meet individual learning and wellbeing needs. You’llcollaborate within a multidisciplinary team—including mental health professionals, whānau, and schools of enrolment—to design and deliver personalised programmes that reflect each student’s goals and strengths. We’relookingfor someone who is: empathetic, flexible, and trauma-informed in their approach. resilient and grounded, with a sense of humour, common sense, and self-confidence. demonstrates ethical behaviour, initiative, and a strong commitment to ongoing professional learning‑especially in mental health, wellbeing, and inclusive education. experienced withstrong curriculum knowledge acrossYears 9-13. expertisein senior Mathematics would be an advantage. skilled at building trust and leading learning spaces with calm and clarity. able to work collaboratively in amulti-disciplinaryteam environment. Requirements NZ registered teacher with a current practising certificate. Full, clean NZ driver licence and access to a private vehicle for work travel. This role involves travel across the greater Wellington region while supporting students with transition.
