Job Description
Westland Milk Products - Christchurch, South Island Westland Milk Products, part of the Yili Oceania Business Division (YOBD), is seeking an experienced Head of TPM to lead the design and rollout of Total Productive Maintenance programme across Yili Oceania. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this senior leadership role is responsible for embedding TPM as a core operating system-driving equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and product quality across multiple sites. You will set the strategy, build capability and TPM maturity, and ensure consistent execution. Key Responsibilities Lead the TPM strategy, governance, and rollout across all sites Own and maintain the TPM playbook, standards, and frameworks Monitor TPM maturity and adjust delivery based on site capability Act as the TPM Centre of Excellence, providing expert guidance Build capability through structured training and development Lead audits, assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives Engage and influence stakeholders to drive adoption and alignment Report progress and insights to senior leadership About you Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field 7+ years' experience in TPM, lean manufacturing, or operational excellence Deep knowledge of TPM pillars and continuous improvement methods Proven success leading multi-site transformation programmes Strong strategic thinking with a hands-on approach to execution Excellent stakeholder engagement skills & a passion for leading cultural change A bit about us Westland Milk Products is a well-known New Zealand end-to-end dairy manufacturer based in the beautiful South Island with offices and production facilities based in both Christchurch and Hokitika.
