Night Shift Production Supervisor / Team Leader Opportunities Production Supervisor & Team Leader Positions Available Join Original Foods and help shape the future of our night shift operations. We are seeking passionate and experienced leaders to join our night shift team in two key positions: Both roles are permanent night shift positions working Sunday to Thursday, 10:00pm – 6:30am . A night shift allowance $1.60 per hour is paid in addition to the base hourly rate. These roles will work closely together to strengthen our night shift leadership structure, develop our people, and ensure we continue to deliver safe, high-quality products efficiently. About the Opportunities Our night shift leadership team plays a key role in ensuring our production areas operate safely, efficiently, and successfully. With continued growth in production requirements, including increased donut production, new product introductions, and additional packing requirements, we are investing in our leadership capability and creating clearer ownership across production areas. These roles will provide leadership across areas including: Packing operations Donut production Cake slab icing Muffins and slices production Production Supervisor The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading night shift operations and supporting the achievement of production targets while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and team performance. Key responsibilities include: Lead and support Team Leaders and production employees across night shift Manage production activities to achieve daily and weekly production plans Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Food Safety, and quality requirements Coach, develop, and support team members to build capability and accountability Monitor production performance and identify opportunities for improvement Manage workforce allocation, training, attendance, and performance expectationsSupport effective communication and handovers between shifts Work collaboratively with Production Management, Quality, Maintenance, and other departments Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, waste reduction, and team capability Team Leader The Team Leader role is an opportunity for an experienced production team member who is ready to take the next step in their leadership journey. Key responsibilities include: Lead and support production teams within an assigned area Ensure daily production requirements are achieved safely and efficiently Coach and train team members using our structured buddy training approach Monitor quality, food safety, and production standards Support problem-solving and elevate issues appropriately Provide hands-on support on the production floor while leading others Promote a positive, accountable, and safety-focused team culture About You We are looking for people who take pride in their work, enjoy developing others, and are passionate about achieving great results as part of a team. You will ideally have: Previous experience in a food manufacturing or production environment Strong understanding of food safety, quality, and workplace safety requirements Experience leading, coaching, or supporting others Excellent communication and problem-solving skills A proactive approach with the ability to take ownership and make decisions A commitment to building a positive and high-performing team environment For the Production Supervisor role , previous leadership experience within a manufacturing environment will be highly valued. For the Team Leader role , we are also interested in experienced operators who have demonstrated strong performance, reliability, and the ability to influence and support others.
