Location: Central Tauranga, Tauranga Start date: Immediate start Pay rate: $27–$29 per hour – weekly pay About the Role As a Civil Hammer Hand, you'll support experienced carpenters and civil crews across a range of large-scale infrastructure projects. From formwork and concrete to drainage and earthworks, you'll play an important role in keeping projects running safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Assist carpenters and civil crews on large-scale construction sites Complete framing, formwork, and concrete work Lay pipes and assist with earthworks, trenching, and site drainage Lay floor protection and prepare tools and equipment for daily tasks Move timber, plasterboard, pipes, and other construction materials around site Work safely around heavy machinery and plant Carry out a variety of general civil construction duties while maintaining a strong focus on health and safety What We're Looking For 2+ years' civil construction experience Experience working around heavy machinery and large-scale civil projects Full Class 1 driver's licence (Class 2 advantageous) WTR endorsement (advantageous) Site Safe passport Own reliable transport Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test Good level of physical fitness Strong commitment to health and safety Reliable attitude and willingness to work as part of a team What's in It for You?
