Account Manager

Are you an experienced Trade Sales Specialist ready to step up into an Account Manager role for career advancement, better earnings and the ability to earn performance-based incentives? Based in-branch at CARTERS Panmure, you will take ownership of an assigned portfolio of accounts driving sales through proactive internal sales activities while delivering excellent customer service and accurate order processing. You will manage your call cycle via phone and email while acting as a key link between customers, suppliers and branch operations. You will be self-motivated, results driven and highly organised. You will ensure orders are entering accurately, ensuring timely deliveries to keep your customer's projects running smoothly. You will be heavily involved in the entire sales process collaborating with internal teams around stock availability, delivery times and pricing to ensure customer needs are met and issues resolved in a timely manner. Skills and Experience The ideal candidate will already be working for a building merchant in a trade sales support or similar role, has established relationships with builders and suppliers and be highly motivated and driven when it comes to customer service and sales.
