Take ownership of a busy trade store with a leading electrical wholesaler Autonomous, hands-on role managing stock and warehouse operations Join a supportive business offering long‑term career opportunities About the Opportunity An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Sole Charge Storeperson & Inventory Controller to join a well‑established electrical wholesaler. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll take full responsibility for the day‑to‑day operation of the store, ensuring stock is accurately managed and warehouse operations run efficiently. Working independently, you’ll oversee inventory levels, coordinate incoming deliveries, manage the movement of stock, and ensure the warehouse is organised, well‑presented and operating smoothly. You’ll work closely with suppliers and the wider team to ensure products are received, stored and dispatched efficiently. Key Responsibilities Manage all inwards and outwards goods Receive, check and process incoming deliveries Maintain accurate stock levels and oversee inventory control Pick, pack and dispatch orders efficiently Ensure the warehouse and trade store remain organised, well-stocked and presented to a high standard Coordinate stock replenishment and liaise with suppliers regarding deliveries Complete stock takes and maintain accurate inventory records Operate safely and ensure warehouse procedures are followed About You Previous experience in electrical wholesale or a similar trade, industrial or building supplies environment Proven experience in stores, warehousing or inventory management Confident working autonomously in a sole‑charge role Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail Good computer skills and experience using inventory management systems Forklift licence preferred, or willingness to obtain one Reliable, self‑motivated and takes pride in maintaining an efficient store What’s on Offer A genuine sole‑charge role with autonomy and responsibility Supportive team culture backed by a respected national business Stable, long‑term opportunity within a growing industry Ongoing training and development opportunities Please note that all applications will be reviewed; however, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
