Manufacturing Engineer

We're looking for a Manufacturing Engineer who loves making things work better. Whether it's improving production flow, reducing waste, implementing Lean principles or introducing smarter manufacturing systems, you'll play a key role in helping shape the future of a growing manufacturing business. Working across Engineering, Production, Quality and Supply Chain, you'll develop practical solutions that improve safety, quality, productivity and efficiency while supporting the introduction of new products and manufacturing technologies. This is an opportunity to be on the factory floor, working alongside people, solving real problems and delivering measurable improvements, not sitting behind a desk all day. What you’ll be doing Improve manufacturing processes, workflow and production efficiency. Lead Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement projects. Develop standard work instructions, SOPs and manufacturing documentation. Support new product introduction and engineering change implementation. Analyse production data to identify improvement opportunities. Conduct time studies, line balancing and labour optimisation. Partner with Production and Quality to reduce defects and improve performance. Evaluate new equipment, tooling and automation opportunities. Build better manufacturing. What you’ll bring A qualification in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering. Experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment. Strong Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement capability. Experience with process mapping, SOP development and standard work. Knowledge of ERP systems, BOMs and manufacturing documentation. Excellent problem‑solving skills with a practical, hands‑on approach. The ability to influence change and build strong relationships across the business.
