About the role We are seeking a Manufacturing Production Technician to join our client's production team in Bell Block, Taranaki. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment. As a Production Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring efficient assembly and process operations, contributing directly to the quality and output of our client's products. This position is based on-site in Bell Block, Taranaki, where you will be an integral part of a collaborative production team. Key responsibilities Operating and monitoring production equipment and machinery in accordance with established procedures and safety standards Performing assembly and process work with precision and attention to detail to meet production schedules and quality requirements Conducting routine inspections and quality checks on products at various stages of production Troubleshooting minor equipment issues and reporting faults to supervisory staff promptly Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols Following work instructions, technical documentation and drawings accurately Collaborating with team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines Recording production data and completing required documentation Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the production area What we're looking for Proven experience in manufacturing, assembly or process work within an industrial or production environment Demonstrated proficiency in operating production machinery and equipment Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, work instructions and specifications Sound understanding of health and safety procedures and regulations Excellent communication and teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively Physical capability to perform manual tasks and stand for extended periods Reliability and punctuality with a strong work ethic Willingness to learn new processes and adapt to changing requirements Current New Zealand driver's licence (preferred) Forklift Licence NZ-OSH Standards What we offer As a Manufacturing Production Technician with NZ Labour Hire Group and our client, you will receive competitive remuneration commensurate with experience and qualifications.
