About the Role We’re looking for a Project Manager to take ownership of the performance and output of our precast yard. This is a key role that sits at the intersection of project delivery and manufacturing operations, ensuring the yard consistently delivers to programme, budget, and quality expectations across multiple projects. You’ll lead the forward planning, commercial performance, and production strategy of the yard, working in close partnership with the Yard Superintendent, who is responsible for day-to-day site operations and crew performance. With plans to grow capability and capacity, this role also plays a critical part in scaling the yard and improving systems, productivity, and overall performance. Own delivery outcomes across safety, programme, cost, and quality for precast production Develop and manage production programmes, aligning yard output with project schedules and shifting priorities Lead procurement and supply planning, ensuring materials and resources are in place to meet demand Manage commercial performance, including budgets, forecasting, margins, and risk Set production strategy and priorities, balancing multiple projects and resolving programme conflicts Work closely with the Yard Superintendent to translate plans into efficient day-to-day operations Build strong relationships with project teams, clients, and suppliers to enable seamless delivery Drive continuous improvement initiatives to lift productivity, quality, and efficiency Support the growth of the precast facility, including systems, workflow, and capacity uplift What you’ll bring to the role Engineering qualification (Civil or Structural preferred) or equivalent experience Proven experience in a project management or operations role within construction, manufacturing, or precast environments Strong understanding of programming, sequencing, and production planning Experience managing procurement and supply chain in a delivery environment Demonstrated commercial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and risk management Experience leading teams and working collaboratively with operational leaders (e.g. Superintendents) Ability to manage multiple priorities across projects and production demands Confident communicator with the ability to engage internal stakeholders, clients, and suppliers About Us Brian Perry Civil are specialists in ground engineering and civil construction, delivering some of the most complex and technically challenging projects.
