Investment and Credit Analyst About the role Reporting to our Head of Managed Funds, you'll support our lending and investment teams by analysing data, building financial models and providing insights that help us make better business decisions. You’ll also help us break new ground in our approach to our credit models. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who enjoys solving problems, wants to develop their commercial skills and is excited by the opportunity to work with new technology, including AI. You’ll be supported by some of the sharpest minds in the industry while gaining exposure to lending, investments, product development and business analytics. What you'll be doing Analyse lending and investment opportunities to support business decisions. Build and maintain financial and reporting models. Prepare reports, dashboards and insights using Excel and Power BI. Help identify trends, risks and opportunities from data. Support the development and improvement of lending and investment products and credit models. Explore new tools and technology, including AI, to improve the way we work. Work closely with teams across Credit, Investments, Finance and Technology. What you'll bring We're looking for someone with strong analytical skills, a willingness to learn and a genuine interest in financial services. You'll ideally have: A degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Mathematics, Data Analytics or a related discipline. Around 1–3 years' experience in an analytical role (financial services experience is a bonus but not essential). Strong Excel skills, with experience using Power BI or similar reporting tools. An interest in financial modelling and using data to solve business problems. Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex information clearly. Curiosity, initiative and a desire to continuously learn and improve. Why join Squirrel?
