Clinical Psychologist - Community Mental Health Team Invercargill Southland Hospital Salary - $87,125 - $123,000 + Kiwisaver Permanent, full-time 1.0 FTE (40hrs per week) opportunity Great work / life balance About the Role We are looking for a psychologist to join the Community Mental Health Team on a permanent full-time basis. This role will see you provide a high-quality clinical psychology service through the assessment and treatment of clients, ensuring their needs are met in a culturally responsive, clinically effective, and legally safe manner. The Psychologist functions as an integral member of a multidisciplinary team. About the Team/Service/ Location The Invercargill Community Mental Health Team is part of the Mental Health Addiction and Intellectual Disability Services (MHAID). The Invercargill Community Mental Health Team is a dynamic and supportive team where autonomous practice, research, professional development is supported. You will be joining a multi-disciplinary team of health professionals committed to the delivery of gold standard care to the population we serve. About you To be considered you must be registered with the NZ Psychologists Board and hold a current Annual Practising Certificate. Candidates should be knowledgeable be able to demonstrate excellent assessment (including risk assessment), formulation, and treatment planning and therapy skills. You should be a confident and effective communicator, truly passionate about your work and hold an unwavering belief in people's recovery. A current NZ drivers' licence will also be required.
