Warehouse Team Leader Christchurch Central, Canterbury | Temporary Ongoing | Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics About the Role We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing operation in Christchurch, producing flour, pre-mixes, and speciality products for the food industry. Our client is looking for a Warehouse Team Lead to join their busy warehouse team on a temporary, ongoing basis. This is a genuine entry-level leadership opportunity, reporting to the Warehouse Manager, and is ideal for someone ready to take the next step into a supervisory role within a fast-paced, hands-on environment. You’ll work a Monday–Friday roster, with oversight across both day and afternoon shifts. What You’ll Be Doing Leading warehouse staff day-to-day, including pre-starts, toolbox talks, and coaching team members Managing stock movements, inventory accuracy, and receiving/put-away/picking/packing/shipment confirmations via D365 Operating a forklift and reach truck to oversee container and truck loading/unloading Monitoring workflow and productivity while keeping health & safety and warehouse standards front and centre What We’re Looking For Prior experience as a Warehouse Team Leader or in a similar supervisory warehouse role Confident, current experience with forklift, reach truck, and container/truck loading and unloading Comfortable with warehouse or ERP systems — D365 experience highly regarded A hands-on, safety-first leader with strong communication and problem-solving skills, who thrives in a fast-paced environment Good to Know You must be a New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or otherwise legally entitled to work in New Zealand to apply You’ll need a current OSH certificate to operate the forklift and reach truck Successful candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment drug test and a Ministry of Justice (MOJ) police check before starting #J-18808-Ljbffr
