This hands-on delivery role works closely with Risk, Finance, Treasury, Data andTechnology teams to uplift Kiwibank’s modelling capabilities through the implementationof new technologies, strategic data models and improved ways of working. You’llapply your understanding of banking products, data flows and model requirementsto help modernise our modelling environment and support critical Bankfunctions. You can expect to work on: Uplifting critical data, calculation logic and model outputs so they are accurate, explainable, well-governed and ready for use in modern modelling environments Developing, analysing and enhancing data and models to support the adoption of new modelling technologies and improved delivery approaches Using tools such as SQL, SAS, Python, Power BI and emerging platforms to modernise model delivery, automate processes and turn data into actionable insights Strengthening data quality, governance, controls and documentation to support scalable, reliable and well-assured modelling capability You'll be joining a collaborative team wherecuriosity, continuous improvement and innovation are encouraged. This role requires an experiencedbanking professional who has a strong skillset in data and modelling capabilitywith advanced, practical knowledge of SAS, SQL and financial risk disciplines. We will be looking for proven experiencewith: Interpreting complex data, navigate ambiguity, and communicate insights clearly to technical and non-technical audiences Banking products, balance sheet management, risk management frameworks, prudential requirements, and regulatory reporting obligations Delivering scalable data and modelling solutions using modern cloud-based data platforms such as Azure, AWS, Snowflake, Databricks, SAS Viya or similar Supporting model governance, validation, assurance, audit, and regulatory review activities.
