We're partnering with a well-established aged care provider in Christchurch to recruit a Clinical Manager for their 144-bed facility. You'll join a collaborative leadership team where you'll be supported by an experienced Facility Manager with over 30 years in aged care and healthcare, alongside another Clinical Manager who works closely with you to ensure exceptional resident care. About the Role This modern aged care facility provides Rest Home and Hospital level care, including a dedicated 16-bed Younger Person with Disabilities (YPD) service. As one of two Clinical Managers, you'll oversee either the Hospital or Rest Home service, rotating portfolios every three months. This unique structure allows both leaders to build strong relationships across the entire facility while developing a broad understanding of all aspects of the service. The Clinical Managers work opposite rosters to ensure strong leadership coverage: Sunday-Thursday, or Tuesday-Saturday On-call responsibilities are shared and light, averaging one week in every three. What You'll Be Doing Lead and support a team of Registered Nurses and caregivers Drive high-quality clinical care and positive resident outcomes Oversee care planning, clinical documentation and quality systems Mentor and develop nursing staff Ensure compliance with aged care standards and clinical governance requirements Work collaboratively with the Facility Manager and multidisciplinary team to continually improve service delivery What's on Offer Salary of $105,000-$125,000 , depending on experience Full-time, 40 hours per week Genuine career progression and leadership development Supportive and experienced leadership team Well-established organisation with strong clinical systems Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on residents, families and staff About You You'll be a New Zealand Registered Nurse with a current APC and have experience leading clinical teams within aged care.
