Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Drainlayer Foreman to join their team. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and to a high standard. Your responsibilities will include: Leading and supervising drainage crews onsite Installing drinking water, wastewater and stormwater infrastructure Coordinating labour, subcontractors and suppliers Reading plans and managing daily site activities Maintaining quality assurance and environmental standards Driving a strong health and safety culture Mentoring apprentices and developing crew capability Completing site documentation and project records About You We're looking for someone who enjoys being out on site, leading by example and delivering quality outcomes. Experience as a Foreman, Leading Hand or Senior Drainlayer within the NZ civil construction industry Strong knowledge of drainage, water reticulation and civil construction practices NZ Certificate in Infrastructure Works (Pipeline Construction & Maintenance Level 4 with Drinking Water strand) or Certified Drainlayer Registration Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to read construction plans and manage site resources Excellent commitment to health and safety Full New Zealand Driver Licence Highly regarded: Class 2 Licence W, T & R endorsements Confined Space certification STMS qualification First Aid certificate Additional civil construction qualifications #J-18808-Ljbffr
