About the role Join our Operations Service team and play an important role in delivering efficient, accurate and compliant banking operations. You will support a wide range of banking services, including lending, payments, settlements, treasury operations and customer account services, while ensuring an excellent customer experience and maintaining the Bank's high operational and regulatory standards. Key responsibilities Process a wide range of banking transactions, including lending, payments, deposits, foreign exchange, trade services and customer account maintenance. Support treasury operations by processing and settling money market, foreign exchange and other treasury transactions. Deliver timely, professional service to internal and external customers, responding to enquiries and supporting digital banking services. Complete reconciliations, maintain accurate records and prepare operational and regulatory reporting. Ensure all transactions comply with Bank policies, AML/CFT, KYC, sanctions and regulatory requirements. Identify operational risks, investigate exceptions and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate with colleagues across the Bank to support efficient and effective operational delivery. About you You are organised, customer-focused and committed to delivering high-quality work. You enjoy working in a collaborative team environment, can manage competing priorities and have strong attention to detail. To be successful, you will have: 2+ years' experience in banking or financial services operations. Experience processing banking transactions and working with banking systems. Sound knowledge of banking products and operational processes. Understanding of New Zealand payment systems and regulatory requirements. Knowledge of AML/CFT and compliance obligations is advantageous. Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships. A Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics or a related discipline. Why Join Us?
