Community Support Worker

In this role, you will: Support people in the community as they set and achieve personal goals Encourage participation in daily life and community activities Provide practical assistance with routines, well-being, and skill-building Model positive behaviours and foster confidence, resilience, and hope Keep clear, accurate documentation to support progress And most importantly, ensure the people you work with have fun and feel valued! This role requires flexibility to work a mix of day, evening and weekend shifts. Desired Skills and Experience What you'll bring Our Nelson team is looking for someone with: Strong communication and relationship-building skills A calm, positive approach, even when things get challenging A genuine passion for helping others grow and succeed A full driver's licence and basic computer skills A relevant qualification (e.g. Level 4 Health & Wellbeing) - or willingness to work toward one once you're on board The right to work in New Zealand (essential) In this role, you will be supporting people with high physical support needs. Experience in this area would be beneficial however, it is not essential as full training will be provided What will Pact offer you?
