Highland Agri Solutions Ltd – East Taieri, South Island Highland Agri Solutions is an independently owned company offering agronomy-based solutions, including custom seed mixes, agrichemical and agricultural equipment sales based at East Taieri, with a seed distribution Centre in Milton. We are committed to providing practical, trusted advice and quality products to farmers across Otago. We pride ourselves on building long‑term relationships with our clients and delivering solutions that help their businesses succeed. About the Role This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working alongside farmers and is passionate about helping them maximise the productivity and sustainability of their farming operations. You will be responsible for: Providing expert agronomic advice across a range of arable, pastoral and forage farming systems. Developing and maintaining strong relationships with our existing client base while identifying new business opportunities Recommending seed, crop protection, fertiliser and pasture management solutions tailored to individual farm needs Conducting regular on-farm visits, crop monitoring and reporting Working closing with suppliers and the wider Highlands Agri Solutions team to deliver exceptional customer service Keeping up to date with industry developments What we’re looking for The ideal candidate with have: Proven experience as an Agronomist within the New Zealand agricultural industry A relevant tertiary qualification in Agriculture, Agronomy or a related discipline Excellent computer skills and knowledge of modern computing/agronomy packages – including AgWorld Strong technical knowledge of arable and pastoral farming systems Excellent communication and relationship-building skills A proactive, self‑motivated approach with the ability to work independently A current full New Zealand driver’s licence A Certified Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain) A forklift licence (or willingness to obtain) What We Offer Competitive salary package, including a company vehicle.
