We’reseeking a detail-oriented Financial Administration Officer to join our Corporate Services team on a fixed-term contract through to September 2027. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with administration or finance experience who enjoys variety, working with people, and being part of a supportive team.You'llplayan important rolein ensuring Council's financial transactions are processed accurately and efficiently while providing excellent service to both internal and external customers. This is afixed term, part-time role,35hours per week. Processwater billingtransactionsand invoice runsaccurately and on time. Investigate and resolve payment and account queries. Carry out quality assurance checks and help minimise fraud risk. Support customers by providing advice on financial processes and Council policies. Assistwith improvements to financial systems and processes. Work collaboratively across the wider Finance team to deliver great service. You'llenjoy working with numbers, have a keen eye for detail, and take pride in providing excellent customer service.You'recomfortable managing competing priorities and enjoy finding practical solutions to problems. What youwill bring: Experience in finance,accountsor administration. Excellent attention to detail anda high levelof accuracy. Strong communicationand customer service skills. Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and the ability to learn new systems quickly. A proactive approach, soundjudgementand strong problem-solving skills.
