About the Role We're partnering with a well-established national supplier that's looking for an experienced Territory Sales Manager to join their team. Covering an established territory, you'll be responsible for building strong customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering solutions that create value for your customers. This is a great opportunity for a relationship-focused sales professional who enjoys managing their own territory, understanding customer needs, and developing long-term partnerships. You'll work closely with existing customers while proactively seeking opportunities to grow market share and expand your customer base. Working alongside internal teams, you'll become a trusted advisor to your customers, ensuring exceptional service and contributing to the continued success of the business. Key Responsibilities Manage and grow an established portfolio of customer accounts across your territory. Build strong relationships with existing customers while identifying and securing new business opportunities. Develop a thorough understanding of customer requirements and recommend tailored product and service solutions. Prepare quotations, manage sales opportunities, and follow through to successful outcomes. Plan and conduct regular customer visits to maximise sales growth and strengthen relationships. Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure customers receive outstanding service. Monitor market activity, competitor trends, and customer feedback to identify opportunities. Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, and account plans. About You Previous experience in territory sales, account management, or business development. A proven ability to build lasting customer relationships and grow sales within an assigned territory. Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify opportunities and deliver practical solutions. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. A self-motivated approach with strong time management and the ability to work autonomously. Experience selling into trade, construction, industrial, engineering, manufacturing, merchant, or similar customer environments will be highly regarded.
