FINANCIAL ACCOUNTS & HR/PAYROLL ADMINISTRATOR Financial Accounts & HR/Payroll Administrator Hospice Whanganui – Whanganui Part Time | 28 hours per week (0.7FTE) Hospice Whanganui is seeking an experienced Financial Accounts & HR/Payroll Administrator to join our team in a part-time role supporting the financial and HR operations of our organisation. This role is responsible for financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, accounts management, payroll administration, and supporting HR processes to ensure the organisation runs efficiently and remains compliant with all financial and employment obligations. Hours: 28 hours per week (0.7 FTE) Reporting to: Chief Executive Officer Key Responsibilities Preparation of monthly financial reports for the CEO and management team Annual budgeting and ongoing financial forecasting Management of financial and accounting systems (including Xero) Cashflow reporting and financial performance monitoring Creditors and debtors processing and invoice management Payroll administration and liaison with outsourced payroll provider Banking, donations and tribute processing Maintaining financial records, asset register and internal controls Preparing statutory reporting (GST, PAYE, Charities Commission, Hospice NZ reporting) Managing employee records and HR documentation, including employment agreements Supporting compliance with organisational policies and health & safety requirements About You To be successful in this role you will have: Proven experience in financial accounts management and reporting Experience preparing budgets and financial forecasts Strong payroll administration experience Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills Ability to manage confidential information with integrity Strong communication skills and the ability to work with a range of stakeholders Advanced computer skills including accounting software and Microsoft Office Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Preferred Relevant accounting qualification an advantage Experience with Xero or similar accounting systems About Hospice Whanganui Hospice Whanganui is a local Whanganui charity that provides free 24/7 specialist palliative care to those in our community who are experiencing a life-limiting illness.
