Food and Beverage Supervisor (Banquets) - Full Time (Please note that you must already have work rights in New Zealand to be considered for this role) We are looking for an experienced Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our Banquets team. This is an opportunity to lead from the floor within a fast-paced five-star hotel environment and play an important role in delivering memorable events and guest experiences. From conferences and corporate functions to weddings and special occasions, you will help coordinate the team and ensure each event runs smoothly from start to finish. What You Will Be Doing Supervising the day-to-day delivery of food and beverage service across our banquet events Leading pre-service briefings and ensuring the team understands event requirements, guest expectations and service standards Coordinating Food and Beverage Attendants throughout each event to ensure service is timely, professional and seamless Working closely with the Kitchen, Conference and Events and wider hotel teams to ensure guest requests are communicated clearly Ensuring function spaces are presented to a high standard and prepared in line with event requirements Responding confidently to last-minute changes and resolving guest concerns with professionalism and urgency Supporting the team to create personalised experiences and memorable moments for our guests Coaching and motivating colleagues through regular feedback and on-the-floor support Ensuring opening and closing procedures, POS transactions and compliance checks are completed accurately Maintaining excellent food safety, hygiene and health and safety standards Our Ideal Candidate Previous experience in a Food and Beverage Supervisor or similar role within a hotel, events or hospitality environment Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and support a team during busy events A warm, confident and professional communication style Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills The ability to remain calm, adaptable and solutions-focused in a fast-paced environment A genuine passion for creating memorable guest experiences A sound understanding of food and beverage operations, service standards and food safety requirements The confidence to provide clear direction, delegate tasks and offer constructive feedback Must be flexible to work a rotating roster, including early mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays Benefits Discounts on dining and accommodation Free nights at our overseas hotels Staff meals provided Discounted parking ($5 per day) Freshly pressed uniform provided each shift Milestone Service benefits Opportunities to grow your career within Langham Hospitality Group Be proud to work at New Zealand’s largest hotel Join the team at New Zealand’s largest hotel and help us create unforgettable events and heartfelt guest experiences. #J-18808-Ljbffr
