As part of this team, you will support the health and wellbeing of pēpi and tamariki from birth to 5-years Working in whānau homes and in our Whānau Health Centres, Te Rito e Tupu Ana provide services including health assessments, development and growth monitoring and education for whānau and caregivers, food and nutrition advice, oral health education and vaccinations. As part of a kaupapa Māori health service, Te Rito e Tupu Ana Nurses are responsible for providing culturally appropriate and whānau-centered care with the ability to coordinate with health and social services to reduce health inequities for whānau To be successful in this role you will need: Registered Nurse with a current APC. Proven experience in child health, community nursing or Well Child services. Strong clinical reasoning and decision‑making skills, with a focus on evidence‑based practice. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and independently as required. Strong relationship‑building and communication skills with diverse communities Have an understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and how it can be shown in practice Proficiency in the use of digital health technologies and clinical information systems.
