Subway Manager

We're multisite Subway franchisees, based right here in the community. You'll work alongside us, as we grow our restaurant group across Canterbury. This is a genuine opportunity to develop your career as we develop our business. About the Role We're looking for a Restaurant Manager to lead our Subway team full time. This isn't just a job running shifts, it's a chance to build something with us. What You'll Be Doing Serving Great Sandwiches and Delighting our Customers on the line Food & Labour Control – Managing food cost, wastage, and rostering to keep the business healthy and sustainable Driving Sales – Working alongside us as franchisees to grow the restaurant, spot opportunities, and bring ideas to the table Building the Team – Recruiting, training, and motivating a crew that genuinely enjoys working together Community Engagement – Getting the local community involved with the store and becoming a recognisable, trusted local face Food Safety & Compliance – Upholding the standards that keep our customers and team safe, every single day Who We're Looking For Above all, you're passionate about customer experience — and to us, that means two kinds of customers: the people buying subs, and the people making them. You know a great store starts with a team that feels looked after. You’ll also bring: A natural ability to motivate and unite a team — you understand what makes people want to show up and do their best Strong food safety knowledge, or a genuine willingness to master it A hands‑on, roll‑up‑your‑sleeves attitude — you lead from the front Confidence with the numbers side of the business: food cost, labour, and sales A desire to grow — for yourself, your team, and the restaurant group Subway experience is very desirable. Previous food retail experience is also highly regarded, but it's not essential. If you've got the passion, the drive, and the people skills, we'll back you with the training and support to succeed.
