About the role You’ll work alongside experienced engineers delivering a diverse range of water and wastewater projects, from treatment and network infrastructure through to broader civil and environmental engineering work. This role is ideal for an engineer with around 1–5 years’ experience who wants greater project exposure, stronger mentoring, and a clear pathway for progression. Key responsibilities Assist in the design and delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects. Prepare engineering calculations, reports and technical documentation. Coordinate with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary project teams. Support project delivery from concept through to construction. Continue developing your technical capability under experienced mentors. What you will need Around 1–5 years’ engineering experience (or 6–8 years for Design Manager level applicants). Experience within water, wastewater, civil or general infrastructure engineering. Exposure to water-related projects through a consultancy, contractor, Tier 1 consultancy, specialist water business or local council. Strong engineering fundamentals and practical design experience. A proactive attitude, professional maturity, and genuine enthusiasm for building a career in water infrastructure. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
