Process Engineer Intern: Lean CI & Value Stream

Intern/ Undergraduate Process/Chemical/Mechanical Engineer Great opportunity to gain work experience Work for a large international employer You will be working cross functionally and guided by our Lean Black Belt Continuous Improvement Manager, assisting with a variety of hands-on tasks relating to our project improvement workload at any given time. In the role you will be required to undertake: Assessment of tasks and operations to identify waste (Transport, Inventory, Motion, Waiting, Overproduction, Overprocessing and Defects) and improvement opportunities (energy, time, cost, etc) in our operations and processes. Value Stream Mapping Assistance with on-site installation of equipment/plant as required. Basic engineering tasks to support other technical staff as required: calculations, measurements, controls, report writing and documentation.
