General Practitioner - Clendon Medical Centre

We are seeking an experienced GP currently performing at GPEP3 or Fellowship level who is confident managing 15-minute appointments within a busy, well-supported clinical environment. This is a part-time (0.8 FTE) opportunity for a dedicated healthcare professional to provide high-quality, patient-centred care to our community. You will be supported by multiple experienced GPs on site, providing collegial support, clinical discussion, and the reassurance of a strong, collaborative team. As a General Practitioner, you will play a vital role in promoting the health and wellbeing of our patients and their whānau. We are open Monday - Friday, 8.30am -5.30pm About the Position and You: Sound clinical and service skills enabling you to fully utilize your experience A patient-centred approach, with a commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care to a full range of people in our community A collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team Current registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ) Current Medical Indemnity Insurance Current ACLS certificate Excellent English communication and documentation skills Familiarity with MedTech Evolution (or similar) is advantageous Commitment to health equity, cultural competency, and an understanding of Māori tikanga, Te Tiriti o Waitangi Be legally eligible to work in New Zealand What You Will Be Doing: Conducting comprehensive medical examinations and assessments to diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions Developing and implementing individualised treatment plans in collaboration with patients Coordinating care with other healthcare providers, such as specialists and allied health professionals Maintaining detailed and accurate patient records, ensuring compliance with medical documentation standards Participating in continuing medical education to stay up to date with the latest practices and treatments What We Offer Clendon Medical Centre has a great team culture, and our GPs work closely with a team of experienced health professionals.
