About the Role As the General Manager Quality, Risk and Patient Safety, you will provide strategic and operational leadership for quality improvement, clinical governance, risk management, infection prevention and control, patient safety, consumer feedback, and regulatory compliance across the district.As a key member of the senior leadership team, you will work closely with clinical and operational leaders to strengthen organisational performance, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and ensure high-quality, equitable care. This role offers the opportunity to lead a specialist team, influence system - wide initiatives, and drive the delivery of programmes that improve patient outcomes, reduce harm, and support excellence in healthcare delivery. About the Team/Service/ Location The Quality, Risk and Patient Safety team provides organisation - wide leadership and support for clinical governance, quality improvement, patient safety, risk management, consumer engagement, infection prevention and control, and regulatory compliance. Based in Hawkes Bay, you will work alongside experienced clinical and operational leaders committed to delivering safer, higher - quality healthcare for our communities.
