XO Recruitment - Christchurch, South Island You diagnose and repair hardware (from IT office equipment to onboard plant machinery computer equipment), assist with server management, and provide helpdesk and software support. You will participate in projects to develop IT solutions to support the business, and provide excellent customer support to staff requiring assistance. You will manage the IT infrastructure including any installation of operations systems. The role in a nutshell: You diagnose and repair hardware (from IT office equipment to onboard plant machinery computer equipment), assist with server management, and provide helpdesk and software support. You will participate in projects to develop IT solutions to support the business, and provide excellent customer support to staff requiring assistance. You will manage the IT infrastructure including any installation of operations systems. To be successful, you will need: Sound demonstrable experience (backed by references) in a desktop engineering or systems engineering. You have comprehensive technical skills across Microsoft 365 (Entra ID, Intune, Autopilot), Azure, Power Automate, Exchange Online (implementation of DLPs and Retention Policies), SharePoint design and troubleshooting. You also have experience with cybersecurity and device management. Extra experience such as Surveillance camera systems, access control systems, IP telephony systems, Microsoft Dynamics NAV ERP systems and SQL database management would be highly regarded. You have strong communication skills as you will be required to liaise with a variety of customers from different backgrounds. Due to the nature of the role, you are available to start immediately or at very short notice, and already are in Christchurch with all valid work rights. The work is on site and will not allow for work from home. Why should you apply? An hourly rate between $36 to $42/h + on-call.
