2026/2027 Summer Internships – Electrical/Electronic Engineering Applications are now open for ElectroNet Consulting’s 2026/2027 Summer Internship programme. Running from mid-November 2026 through to February 2027, our internship is designed for second- and third-year electrical/electronic engineering students who are ready to apply their learning in a real-world environment and contribute to projects shaping the future of energy in New Zealand. You will work alongside experienced engineers across a range of projects in distribution, transmission, generation, power system analysis, electrical safety and CAD & Visualisation. You will also gain hands-on experience in areas like modelling, testing, design, protection, and power quality, with full support from a dedicated mentor. What we’re looking for: We're looking for motivated students currently studying towards a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (second or third year) who are passionate about developing their skills and contributing to meaningful projects.
