Listing Description: Quality & Compliance Manager Location: Tauranga, Bay of Plenty Job type: Permanent Build and lead a quality framework from the ground up. We are seeking an experienced Quality & Compliance Manager to join a growing maintenance, construction and engineering services business. This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of the development, implementation and ongoing management of a Quality Management System across a diverse operational environment. This role will suit a quality professional who enjoys creating systems, driving continuous improvement and working closely with operational teams to embed best-practice quality and compliance processes. About the Role Reporting to the HSEQ Manager, you will lead the design and implementation of an ISO-aligned Quality Management System while providing quality assurance and quality control leadership across engineering, maintenance, construction and coatings operations. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement an ISO 9001-aligned Quality Management System. Establish quality processes, procedures, work instructions and operational controls Lead QA and QC initiatives across projects, workshops and maintenance activities Conduct internal audits and manage non-conformance and corrective action processes Support operational teams with inspection plans, quality plans and compliance requirements. Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence across the business Deliver training and guidance to supervisors, project managers and operational personnel. About You To be successful in this role, you'll bring: Experience developing and implementing Quality Management Systems, ideally aligned to ISO 9001. A background in engineering, construction, industrial services, maintenance, manufacturing, or a related sector. Strong QA/QC experience within operational or project-based environments. Experience conducting audits, managing compliance requirements and investigating non-conformances. Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
