Physiotherapist

Maniototo Health Services – Ranfurly, South Island This is a sole-charge physiotherapy position it is covering Parental Leave and is for 12 months , ideally suited to an experienced clinician who enjoys working autonomously and building strong relationships with patients, residents, families, and the wider healthcare team. You will provide physiotherapy services across rural community-based patients, inpatients within a small rural hospital, outpatient and ACC patients, aged residential care residents, rehabilitation and mobility support programmes, and falls prevention and functional assessments. Working closely with nurses, GPs, visiting specialists, and allied health professionals, you will play an important role in supporting the health and wellbeing of people across the Maniototo region. Key responsibilities Provide physiotherapy services to rural community-based patients Provide physiotherapy services to inpatients within the small rural hospital Manage outpatient and ACC patients Support aged residential care residents Deliver rehabilitation and mobility support programmes Conduct falls prevention and functional assessments Work closely with nurses, GPs, visiting specialists, and allied health professionals About you Current registration with the Physiotherapy Board of New Zealand A current Annual Practising Certificate Preferably a minimum of 5 years' post-graduate clinical experience Experience working independently and managing a varied caseload Excellent assessment, rehabilitation, and communication skills A commitment to person-centred care and rural health outcomes A full New Zealand Driver Licence Experience in rural health, aged care, rehabilitation, or community physiotherapy would be highly advantageous About us Maniototo Health Services Ltd provides integrated primary, community, hospital, and aged care services to the Maniototo community.
